This course will provide a broad understanding of brain behavior relationships, including a review of the neuropsychiatric mental status examination, a review of systems neuroscience in psychiatry, and introduction to brain networks, a review of genetics, and a review of theoretical causes of mental disorders, future approaches to diagnosis, and the neurobiology of chronic mental illness.

This course contains the introductory lectures on psychopharmacology. Although designed to be at the PGY-1 level, the course is suitable for all years as a review course.
